We will look after your hens as we do our own, your hens will have there own brand new plastic chicken housing they will be kept in secure runs which will be moved frequently and cleaned out daily. Houses will be pressure washed and disinfected between guests. Cockerels welcome with their ladies.

Boarding Prices 2024

Eglu 1 – 4 birds £7 per night

Cube 5 – 7 birds £9.50 per night

Cube 8 – 10 birds £1 per night

Minimum charge of £20 per stay.

No refunds are given for early collection of your hens.

If hens are not collected on time for any reason, normal daily charges will be incurred.

We accept payment by cash or cheque.

Mixed corn and layers pellets included in cost.

We will feed your feed if you prefer.

Free organic red might treatment on arrival.

Boarding Terms and Conditions

Hens must be dropped off after 1 pm, and collected before 11 am to allow for thorough cleaning of the houses.

If you are late collecting your hens, they may be moved to a traditional wooden house, to facilitate cleaning for other bookings, and an additional daily charge will be incurred.

A contact number should be left whilst you are away.

All hens should be in good health when they arrive. We cannot accept hens that show symptoms of ill health or respiratory infection.
Although we are experienced poultry keepers, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, death or injury to your hens whilst in our care. Any veterinary charges will be your responsibility, unless you instruct us otherwise before hand.

Any hens which are not collected one week after the agreed collection date, will become the property of Creake Meadows.

Creake Meadows does not accept any liability for personal injury, and individuals are advised to ensure their own safety whilst on our premises..
